The engineering industry tradition and, at the same time, the roots of our company stretch as far as 1630 when a bell foundry was established in Trnava. In the 19 th century the Fischer's came to own the company and subsequently Adolf Fischer exploited the industrial development in the Trnava region and expanded the existing portfolio with manufacture of spare parts, in particular for sugar industy and agricultural machinery.  


The cornerstones of our company were established in 1963, when the national enteprise of Šmeralove závody was founded in Trnava by separating the engineering and metallurgic operations from the district industrial enterprise of Kovovýroba in Trnava. As a result of the free capacity of Šmeralove závody the mission of the company was to manufacture metal working machines for ČKD Hronov.
